  • 1 tsp baking

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar

Other

  • Cornstarch

  • Oil to fry - we used vegetable oil

  • 4-5 cloves garlic - minced

  • Thumb-sized ginger - minced

  • 6 stalks green onion - chopped into thirds

  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
  1. In a bowl marinate beef with ingredients above and leave for 15-30 minutes

  2. When marinated and ready to cook, toss the beef in cornstarch and evenly coat each piece and keep the juice of the marinade

  3. Shallow fry the beef in oil until crispy

  4. Remove once cooked and drain excess oil

  5. In a wok, sautƩ garlic and ginger until fragrant, add the remaining marinade from the beef and allow to thicken

  6. Once the sauce has thickened, toss the beef and sliced green onions on the sauce.
