These NYC-style cookies have a crispy outer layer but are soft, chewy and gooey inside! (The best cookie type) We incorporated walnuts on ours which added a nutty and buttery texture and for good measure also stuffed it with Nutella. These are a crowd-pleaser and make a cute edible gift. 🤤

Method:
Place 12 teaspoon-dollops of Nutella in a plate and freeze for at least 3 hours.
In a large bowl, using an electric/ stand mixer, combine butter and sugar until it resembles wet clumpy sand.
Fold your walnuts and chocolate chips in the mixture.
Add the dry ingredients mix but don’t over mix.
Finally, add the egg and mix until it’s come together as one dough.
Portion each cookie to be around 120g and, stuff each with 1 frozen teaspoon of Nutella in the centre and form a ball.
Place the cookies back the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight.
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 180C along with the baking sheet and pan.
Remove baking pan from oven, evenly space cookies and bake for around 15-18mins.
Serve and enjoy with a sprinkle of sea salt on top! The cookies should be nice and gooey on the inside with a lovely golden brown crisp on the outside!
